ATMOSPHERE OF A COMPANY

A healthy workplace environment is must for any positive outcome to arise. The work environment impacts one’s mood and performance. If the employee works in a dreary office and with unfriendly employees, they will feel demotivated and also their confidence level will be affected, so creating a productive environment is necessary for company’s overall growth and success.

Following are some ways to improve your work environment and success of company:

Clear Communication : Communication is the key to any of the problems. Good communication between a boss and his or her employees is essential for positive working relationship. Your employees need to understand of what you want to convey them but also you need to have an idea of what they expect from you. There has to be an equal amount of communication between a boss and employees.

Listen to everyone’s ideas : Each employees is with your company by its capability and intelligence. Encourage employees to voice ideas. Even if that might not be up to the mark but participation is must, it is important that everyone has his or her say. This will show that each member of your team is valuable and his or her input is equally important like others. This will definitely boost their self-confidence and motivate them. 

Eg. A person might have a good idea to start s cold call for a sales pitch, or someone might have a good & unique idea for a digital message on social media for buying a property. 

Hire passionate team members : Smart businesses knows that good work environment starts with hiring the right people with professional working skills. If one works for a Real firm, he or she should give their 100% and should be always motivated and charged for the work. So hire the members accordingly who have interest to work in that particular field 

Show your trust : It is not always necessary to keep an eye on the employees. Step back and let your employees do their jobs. You have to trust them that they will do their work properly after all you have hired them for a reason. Eg. Even if in case there are people working from home, you need to givd them space, sometimes giving space brings out the best in them 

Promote wellness : Health is an important factor. If it is not proper, no one can focus on work properly. Hence boss should make sure that employees take care of their health by having healthy food and no skipping lunch break. If health is fit and fine, employees can work with full dedication and aggression. The boss should also motivate them for fitness and regular exercise at home. 

Lead the way : As the one in charge you are the one who sets the example for your employees. If you stay positive, your work environment will reflect that .It will cheer up your employees. Be comfortable and encouraging with your employees. Listen to them and keep communicating. Work becomes much more simple with the positive attitude. Eg. If some employee closes a deal and it cancels, make sure you motivate them and make sure they know where did it went wrong inorder to get it right the next time.  

Performance Evaluation : Management must evaluate performance of employees and provide feedback needed. The annual performance evaluation is an opportunity for managers to sit with their employees and discuss their performance during the year. The feedback provided can help employee to identify their weaknesses and strengths. 

Planning : Management engages in strategic planning to set the course for the organization in all areas of the company. Strategic planning determines the goals for the company and sets a detailed plan for achieving those goals.

Participation : Employees support and participation is equally important for the growth of company. Following are some ways how employees can support their company:

Keep learning : Having proper knowledge of their respective work profile is important. But one should never stop exploring themselves. It is always useful to gain more and more knowledge about everything apart from your only work profile. This will help an individual with making decisions and being confident to solve any of the work related queries. Also it can be beneficial for them in future too.

Utilise Time : It happens sometime that the particular work given by the boss to an employee is finished and employees are sitting idle. At this point rather than wasting time, they should come upfront and ask their respective boss for some other work. If mind is busy with some or the other activities, it will be boosted and gives us more energy to work with full dedication.  

Share ideas : Work like it is your own company and not just for the sake of doing it. Only then you will be able to work with heart and mind both. Keep sharing ideas on how and what can be done to gain company’s success and growth. Try discussing with your boss and learn from the

Brain storming : Try to organize at least monthly meetings where there should be a brain storming session amongst the members which helps to clear a few thoughts and also can bring in some new & innovative ideas. 

Fun & Entertainment : Occasionally there can be celebrations of festivals or other special days where in the team members bond well with each other and which helps to bring some management skills such as team playing, co-ordination, innovate ideas etc among the team members. The celebrations also motivates the employees and gets in them positivity towards the company they are working in. It helps people to interact with each other so they can bond and gel well.
